Our Story
I created Iviella—a mashup of my first name, middle name, and childhood nickname—back in 2015 when I was making jewelry for high school fundraisers. Later, in college, I transitioned to clothing, eventually narrowing my niche to vintage. I love history and learning, finding it utterly fascinating to think of how many hands have passed over each item and how it came to be. In a way, it combines my hobbies with my education; anthropology (archaeology) with an emphasis in material culture. My favorite bit is finding something unknown and learning as much as I can about it!
Our Specialties
Iviella is like going to grandma’s house, if she lived in a little cottage in the forest, spent the days tending to her plants, and was a crow. Alternatively? Iviella is a loot goblin, excitedly combing the beaches and forests for shells, glass, bones, and what many would see as garbage. She wears many hats, but cottagecore, natural & reclaimed media art, and nature-inspired coziness are by far her favorite.
Our Process
For handmades, many are from artists of yesteryear. People throughout recent history who took the time to create something beautiful, that we now get to appreciate long after it’s left their hands. WI-based artists: -Spell Jars by Bekah (Season of the Witch) Oshkosh, WI -Lace Crochet by Rebecca D., Sheboygan Falls, WI (Commissions open, price varies by time, materials, and availability) -Natural & Reclaimed Media Wall Collages by Izzy (Iviella Vintage), Oshkosh, WI. All materials personally & ethically sourced.
Our Values
Iviella Vintage is proudly woman, LGBT, and disability owned—we unequivocally believe in and stand for sustainability, ethical consumption, human rights, equitable social reform, and social justice. We are also proud to be able to serve our local WI communities through various restoration and relief projects, which would not be possible without the support of every single customer who’s shopped with Iviella. Thank you, a million times, THANK YOU!
